Hi everyone;
Like most people that probably start here, I don't know much, but am willing to learn. In fact that is why I seeked you out.
I have an old wooden tripod stand Selsi telescope. All I know about it is what is printed on a plate close to the eyepeice. It says 'Selsi' 'Coated Optics' 'F=910mm' 'D=80mm'. Fully extended it is approximately 40' long. It also has a small 'Japan' sticker on it but no manual or any type of instructions came with it. It seems like it is well equipped to me but I don't know anything about telescopes.
I have the following Lenses, or adapters that came in the box:
1. A spotter scope with a 20mm Lens in it.
2. A Sun Lens.
3. A H10mm Lens.
4. A H15mm Lens.
5. A R.20mm Lens.
6. A SR.4mm Lens.
7. A Moon Lens.
8. A 6X eye piece Lens.
9. A 3X Barlow Tube.
10. A 90 deg Adapter with I guess a mirror inside of it.
11. A bigger round Element (about 2 1/2' in Diameter) that offsets the image for I am guessing a camera mount, (the threads are approx 1 3/8' in diameter.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find any type of instruction manual, or even a good web site where I can find out how to operate this telescope, as well as use the lenses and adapters in the proper manner?? I hate to see this just setting here, and I am way to curious about space and our solar system to just give this away.
I will thank you in advance because when I used to build computers I was on a web site where we used to help people with thier problems and I know I will find the same kindness and assitance with all of you.
